TDCA Women's League Update

Historic First Year Reaches Playoff Stages

The history making TDCA Women's league has reached midseason and the league delivered on all its promise in the first year. 

The ladies league is fiercely contested by four teams namely , Kaisoca Ladies, Toronto Ladies, Superstars and Ontario Cricket Academy on Saturdays and Sundays mornings in 25 over matches. 

A total of over 50 players are registered in this league. 

Kaisoca is still unbeaten in league play at 4-0 and finished first in the round robin competition with 24 points. Toronto Ladies finished second with 12 points while Superstars edged ahead of Ontario Academy. 

The Kaisoca All Star team in the senior division is a combination of the better players from all four teams that plays in the 4th.division. After 8 matches the team is winless but is showing great improvement. 

The Kaisoca Ladies CC also participated in the Toronto Mayor's Cup cricket tournament as well as The Grayson Shillingford Memorial T20 cricket tournament. 

It has certainly been a watershed year for women's cricket in Canada
