RIZWAN CHEEMA CAPTAINED PCB TO ITS SECOND TDCA ELITE TITLE

Cricket Canada’s domestic season is coming to and end across the country as league and provincial finals continue to be played in many leagues.

 

On Saturday, Meraloma’s Cricket Club defeated United Victoria Cricket Club by seven wickets.  United CC batted first and made 156, which Meraloma’s chased down for the loss of 3 wickets. Jon Snow (38*) and Dave McGowan (43) led the way for the BCMCL Champions. Meraloma’s are the Cricket BC champions and will represent BC in the 2012 John Ross Robertson Competition. <SCORECARD>

 

On Sunday, in a match webcast live across the country, PCB Stallion’s defeated Centurions Cricket Club by 19 runs to with the TDCA Elite division compeition. Batting first, the Stallions were led by Usman Limbada who helped carry them to 208 from 50 overs. In reply, Centurion’s kept the chase close before running out of steam in the final overs to come up just short.
