CRICKET CANADA (CC) COACH EDUCATION

QUEBEC LEVEL 1 COURSE

Cricket Canada conducted a successful Level 1 Coach Education course in Montreal, Quebec over the weekend of 13 & 14 April. The course was facilitated by Cricket Canada’s Domestic Development Manager, Ingleton Liburd, and High Performance Manager, David Patterson.

Quebec Cricket Federation (QCF) Junior Development Officer, DeCourcey Bishop, worked closely with Cricket Canada to ensure that the course was productive. According to DeCourcey, “All of the attendees were satisfied with the course and the professional manner in which it was conducted”.

QCF President, Charles Pais, said, “I would like to thank the participants for taking time out to attend the Level 1 course since having newly trained cricket coaches will help foster growth and the development of the sport in Canada”.

From Cricket Canada’s Domestic Development Manager, Ingleton Liburd, “This course was the start of a national coach education program to improve on the number of qualified coaches and the quality of coaching in each Province”.

Level 1 Coach Education courses will be held in Burlington, Ontario on April 20 & 21 and in Fredericton, New Brunswick on April 27 & 28.
