Be part of the winning team at Cricket Canada. Changes in the governance of Canadian cricket have created new and exciting positions for committed volunteers looking to “Join the Movement”

Cricket Canada is looking for applicants to join the operations team as program coordinators. Reporting to the program managers, the coordinators will assist with the day-to-day operations of Cricket Canada as well as take on special tasks as required.

There are 7 positions available as follows:

  • Senior Men’s Coordinator
  • Youth Cricket Coordinator
  • Women’s Coordinator
  • National Umpires Coordinator
  • National Schools Coordinator
  • National Coaching Coordinator
  • National Scorers Coordinator

Positions are volunteer; however Cricket Canada will reimburse all reasonable expenses, with prior approval, relating to this position.

To provide assistance where requested and required to the Chief Executive Officer, High Performance Manager, Domestic Development Manager and Office Manager in the completion of their duties in the following areas:

Senior Coordinator                        Men’s National Team Program; National Cricket League


Junior Coordinator                         Under 19 Male National Team Program; Male Youth Development Programs


Women’s Coordinator                  Women’s National Team Program; Female Youth Development Programs               


Chair of the National Coaching Committee           LTAD Plan; ICC Coach Accreditation Programs and Courses

 Chair of the National Umpires & Scorers Committee          Umpiring & Scoring Programs and Accreditation Courses; umpiring and scoring appointments

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

•Good organization and communication skills

•Team conscious whose focus is on national rather than provincial or regional needs. 

•Able to achieve objectives through planning and foresight.

•Constructive and objective.

•Able to maintain confidentiality.

•Fair-minded and displays no bias.  

•Shall not hold another position within Cricket Canada which shall include being a member of the Board of Directors (National or Provincial)

•Shall not be related to a current or potential national level player, umpire, scorer or coach

•Not under suspension or investigation by his Province or any other body

The typical duties of each position may include assisting Cricket Canada staff in the following areas

  • Organisation and conduct of Cricket Canada matches & tournaments
  • Special events (including on-site co-ordination)
  • Organization and conduct of training and practical programs
  • Overall program administration and communications

Specific duties and time commitment for each position will vary depending upon the priorities within each of these areas at any given time.
