It is with deep regret that Cricket Canada announces the passing away of PANDIT BASDEO MAHARAJ. Mr. Maharaj was the former president of Maple Leaf Cricket Club from 2008-2011

Mr. Maharaj was a fixture in the cricket community for many years and he will certainly be missed. Cricket Canada expresses its deepest sympathies to Mr. Mahraj's friends and family.
